Guatemala, February 27, 2020. Within its Corporate Social Responsibility program and aware that caring for the environment is key to the wellbeing of all, Comercializadora PAHAME sponsored a study done by the San Carlos de Guatemala State University for the conservation of mangrove in the Guatemalan Atlantic Coast.
The Izabal University Center (Cunizab) conducted the study “Organic Matter Flow Model in the Natural Forest of the Cayo Quemado Natural Forest Mangrove System, in Livingston, Izabal” to develop a sustainable management plan for the mangrove system of that area.
Mangroves are a refuge and habitat to a wide diversity of water and land organisms that depend on mangrove production. Comercializadora PAHAME cares for the environment through environmental certifications and permits that guarantee its operation.
